Asus just released its new convertible laptop called ZenBook Flip UX360, a super-thin, ultra-light 2-in-1 that sports a full 360 degree hinge, enabling customers to flip the screen back to create a tablet-like form factor.

The newly released ZenBook Flip UX360CA is 13.9mm thick and weighs 2.9 pounds. Unlike many other slim laptops and hybrids, it has a fanless design, which can mean less sys noise and better battery life.

The ZenBook Flip UX360 sports a 276ppi 13.3-inch (1920x1080p) IPS full-HD touchscreen display. A QHD+ (3200x1800p) display model will also be launched at a later date. The Windows 10 Home-based Asus ZenBook Flip UX360 is already available to buy in the US, with the base model starting at $699 with a 256 gigabyte SSD, and another model with a 512 gigabyte SSD priced at $799. A 128 gigabyte storage model will also be available, but pricing has not been detailed as of now. It will be available in Icicle Gold or Mineral Grey colours.

The company claims that the battery life for the device lasts up to 10 hours on a single charge along with its 3-cell 54WHr polymer battery. The ZenBook Flip UX360 comes with 8 gigabyte of LPDDR3-1866 RAM (4 gigabyte of RAM is optional, but pricing has not yet been detailed) and a choice of Intel’s 6th-generation Intel Core M processor (models include Core m7-6Y75, Core m5-6Y54, and Core m3-6Y30) with two cores and four threads. All three chipsets feature Intel HD Graphics 515.

In terms of connectivity, ZenBook Flip UX360 features Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac with Intel WiDi support, a USB 3.0 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 Types-A ports, a Micro-HDMI port and an SD card reader.
