Biostar unveiled a new addition to their range in the form of a mini PC system called the Biostar Racing P1. It is literally a pocket-sized PC which can fit in your pockets, its small size and light weight make it ideal to bring anywhere. But it goes beyond just practicality and also portability as the RACING P1 brings with it the pedigree of the RACING series along with its signature VIVID LED DJ for unrivaled customization like its motherboard counterparts. Limited size but limitless creativity!

The unit had a surface mimicking steel and a “Racing” logo illuminated with customizable backlit RGB LEDs. The Biostar Racing P1 mini PC is based upon the 14nm Intel Atom Z8350 quad-core processor with 2W TDP. Complementing the processor is 4 gigabyte of RAM, 64 gigabyte of storage and a good selection of I/O options, including six USB ports.

On the front panel, the new Racing P1 mini-PC provides one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, one Micro SD card reader, and a line-out/microphone input jack, and the power button. On the back, the unit provides four USB 2.0 ports, one gigabit Ethernet port, one HDMI port for connecting the unit to a monitor or HDTV. That means professionals could stuff the unit in the briefcase and connect the device to a hotel room’s TV instead of carrying a laptop.

The Racing P1 mini-PC is available to purchase now for $160 although it hadn’t shown up on Newegg or Amazon at the time of writing.
