HP rolled out a refresh version of the company’s popular two-in-one HP Spectre x360 convertible laptop at Consumer Electronics Show CES 2017 today –world biggest electronics event.

The laptop features a 15.6 inch display is indeed of the 4K variety with a resolution of 3,840 × 2,160 and more than 8 million pixels. The Spectre has a micro-edge display that has become a standard feature, with a UWVA eDP BrightView WLED-backlit narrow border touch screen. It weighs 4.4 pounds and is 17.89 millimeter thick, while its predecessor weighed roughly 4 pounds and was 16 millimeters thick, not huge differences. In fact, you might not even notice them, but HP executives said that the added chassis space affords room for discrete NVIDIA graphics and 23 percent more battery.
The two-in-one laptop is powered by an Intel seventh generation Core i7-7500U Kaby Lake processor and coupled with a dual-core chip with four threads operating at 2.7GHz (up to 3.5GHz with Boost), and an outdated NVIDIA GeForce 940MX GPU.
The device runs on Windows 10 Home, the laptop also has a 256GB PCle NvME M.2 Solid-State Drive, 16GB DDR4 SDRAM, Bang & Olufsen dual speakers, a front IR webcam, dual array microphones, and island-style backlit keyboard. There is also port for USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3, HDMI, USB Type-A, and USB Type-C 3.1 Gen. HP also improves the battery capacity, the HP claims the system is now good for up to 12 hours and 45 minutes of battery life.
